Can I use the Audio Codec Breakout - WM8960 to record from an analog audio source that is directly connect? I would like to record in mp3 from the record out of a dj mixer to record a dj set.
The answer is yes, it’s got two channels of Analog to Digital Conversion (ADC) this could be done, although I don’t believe the chip is going to be able to compress to MP3 file format, that would have to be done by whatever is receiving the digital signal.
