When looking at the AVX SR Series radial ceramic capacitors, you may see these part numbers with the suffix “AA”, which is slightly different from what the datasheet mentions. What does this suffix mean?
For example, SR305A103JAA
Please note that the original part number ended with an “A” then when RoHS came through they added an “R” making the “A” non-RoHS or mixed and the “R” RoHS compliant.
In 2009 AVX standardized the line, and all SR parts with suffix “AA” and “AR” became RoHS compliant.
