在 Broadcom 的 AS22 系列 旋轉編碼器應用中，原廠的 Application Note 中提到一個名為 Spacer Pin（間隔針） 的工具，用來協助設定 編碼盤（codewheel）與 AS22 PCB 之間的正確間隙（gap）。
這個 Spacer Pin 並不是放在編碼盤圖案上，而是放在 AS22 的 PCB 與編碼盤內輪轂（inner hub）之間，用來在組裝時固定並確保適當的垂直距離。
根據 Broadcom 原廠說明，
Spacer Pin 的建議直徑為 1.58 mm，
以確保編碼盤與感測器之間得到正確且穩定的間隙設定。
