I’m looking for a copper tape to wrap DLO cable which is a very flexible muli-strand copper cable. The tape is used to contain all the strands when terminating under a lug. The tape should be 3/4" wide.
Thanks,

Wondering if something like this might work:
We have purchased the following products and am wondering if they are appropriate products:
1067-1126-0.75-6-ND
1067-1125-0.75-6-ND
One is conductive and one is non-conductive, I’m wondering if this is an issue for our application.
If one’s using diesel locomotive cable for it’s namesake purposes, there’s almost certainly a specification floating around somewhere regarding practices and materials for termination.
I’m fairly confident that a layer of non-conductive adhesive would not be preferred in a joint that might be carrying hundreds of amps however. Whether or not the “conductive” adhesive in the other is sufficiently so to be used in such cases, I don’t know.
