Crimp component for 06SUR-32S part

Hello. I have a PCB with “SM06B-SURS-TF” part mounted on. I need to build a mating cable, using “06SUR-32S” connector. I am wondering what crimp contact I should use to connect cables to this connector? Thanks!

If you’re using 06SUR-32S you do not need crimp contacts, that connector is “IDC” which stands for Insulation Displacement Connector. The contacts are built in and pierce the insulation to make contact.

It should also be noted we have pre-made cables with these connectors on them < Available Here >

Thank you so much. Do I need a tool for piercing the insulation?I had checked the pre-made cables, unfortunately they are shorter than my application needs.

The bench press and associated applicator for the connector are

Press: HPD-M2A

Applicator: H2-SUR30ED-X

Otherwise JST also has cable building capabilities, Their contact information is available here.
