Matching socket for 02SUR-32S Connector

For part number 02SUR-32S appearing as a Female Socket for 2 wires, Male Plug, please provide the part number for its matching Female Socket for 2 wires Female “Header”

This is as close to an accurate description as sanity allows. I want to ensure I am ordering the correct matching connector for 02SUR-32S inter-connectors.

  • I am unsure of the proper nomenclature for these products.
  • What looks like a plug [male] in the illustration is described as a Receptacle or Female Socket. My confusion is that the Connector Type, Contact Type fields, must be only describing this as a Female Socket for male wires.
  • There seems to be no descriptor for the entire object which appears to be a Male plug which should have a separate Female socket or “header?” which in-turn contains a Female Socket for male wires for which I can not discern the correct part number.
  • I hope you can see my confusion as an old experienced electronics and electrical professional, and help me.

In short.

  1. I need the matching female-female part number for this 02SUR-32S female-male connector, if you will.
  2. If I am missing the “this matches that” information in the product descriptions, please give me a clue as where I should look.

This part 02SUR-32S is a connector that takes two 32AWG wires as IDC connection. The socket terminals are already within the connector. This connector gets plugged into the surface mounted headers that have pins. The mating parts are BM02B-SURS-TF which is straight, top entry, and SM02B-SURS-TF(LF)(SN) whish is right angle, or side entry. Both of the possible options of mates are at the bottom of the 02SUR-32S page under Mating Products heading. You can verify this from the data sheet of 02SUR-32S here.
At the bottom of the page there are also some Assembly options that have this connector at the end of two wires already assembled.

Much Embarrassment on my part. I thought I had hit the bottom of the page, but now realize only a little past half way. Once at the Mating Products heading, the mate for which I was looking was at the top of the list with the needed information.
There is an amazing amount of detail DigiKey has to present, Consider a table of contents at top for we first users and faster access for your experienced customers. If I am the only one to mention this, please excuse an ex-tech-writer’s urge to edit. You helped greatly.
