How much current does the Keystone 11011 support? can i used it connect to an external power supply that provided 12 V, 8 A to my PCB?

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum. The information I was given in support of this is 2Kv and 5 amps.
That special connector is way too special and expensive to use for a simple power connection.
It is designed to give a fast precise connection for standard chunky test lead probes from a meter. I’ve only ever seen them used on very expensive gear where easier in the field testing is worth the 10+ times higher than usual price for a single contact.
I only need a few of these but i will look for alternatives too.
Where did you get the 2KV, 5A info from?
That information came from the manufacturer but they didn’t have a document to provide for it.
