It sounds like we may have found a solution to your issue. Now that you have resaved that symbol, please try to save the project as a new project as well. It looks like if you save the project as a new project, and then remove/replace the bad symbols it should bypass the problem.

Thanks but still not fixed for me. Cloned symbol, cloned project. Problem persists.

I made a brand new symbol and now one of the pins disappears off to the extreme RHS of the canvas.
