DAQ setup labjack t7 pro

Dear DigiKey Team, I hope you all are well.

I need help for DAQ setup.

The project details;

We have an earth auger,and want to mount some sensors on it.

First, we want to count the rotation number and calculate the RPM. Second, we are planning to measure displacement while drilling.

  1. For RPM measurement, as we searched, we should use a hollow shaft rotary encoder, but we are open to using other types of sensors.

  2. For distance measurement, we will use an ultrasonic distance sensor…

we are planning to buy these 2 sensors.

For DAQ, we are planning to use labjack t7 or t7 pro.

If we buy this DAQ, and these 2 sensors, Can we track the data while drilling?

I think it is possible to choose compatible output types according to labjack t7-t7 pro.

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum community.

I’m sorry to say that we don’t actually carry the Labjack T7 nor T7 Pro versions.
Some Labjack DAQs are offered on our website as marketplace items:

We have the proximity sensor UGT520 but only as a non stock item.

We don’t carry the encoder GHH90 unfortunately.

Some open center (I assume these are the same as hollow shaft) that we have in stock are in link

Sorry about the delay. We did get a Google Alert for this post since it mentioned “LabJack”, but we’ve had a heck of a time getting Digikey to let us login to this forum, and just now finally got in. I believe you contacted us directly back in June, but certainly let us know if you need anything further.
