Difference between GSM modules

Hello,

We currently use the GSM module TELIT CINTERION ELS62-W REL.1 and I have seen on your site a similar module TELIT CINTERION PLS62-W REL.1, do you know what the difference is?

We would need this to work in the UK.

We are working on this. Will let you know when we have an answer.

Hello.
The ELS62-W REL.1 has a different form factor than the PLS62-W REL.1. The ELS62-W is 27.6 x 25.4 x 2.2mm, while the PLS62-W is 33 x 29 x 2.3mm.

The ELS62-W REL.1 has the following features:

Product Features

  • 3GPP Rel.13 Compliant Protocol
  • Volte with CSFB
  • LTE Cat.1bis (requires one antenna)
DL: max. 10.2 Mbps, UL: max. 5.2 Mbps

Certifications

  • GCF, RED, UKCA, ROHS, RCM, Anatel, CCC, SRRC, NAL

The PLS62-W REL.1 has the following features:

Product Features

  • 3GPP Rel.9 Compliant Protocol
  • LTE Cat.1 (requires two antennas)
DL: max. 10.2 Mbps, UL: max. 5.2 Mbps

Certifications

  • RED, QCF, CE, FCC, PTCRB, IC, UL

There may be other differences. These are just the few that I found during a quick review.

Thanks.
