Need the differnce between U.FL-R-SMT(10) and U.FL-R-SMT-1(10)
We contacted Hirose to clarify the difference between U.FL-R-SMT(10) and U.FL-R-SMT-1(10) coaxial connectors. They provided the following information as clarification.
The -1 calls out features that were made to the connector’s center pin terminal to prevent solder from wicking up the center contact during reflow. The illustration below shows the difference and where those differences are relative to the connector:
The U.FL-R-SMT-1(XX) has basically been the standard part for years now.
