Does SQ Series Cement-Housed High-Power Resistors need additional heat sink to use it upto rated power rating.
TE Connectivity’s documentation they list does not show that heatsinking would be needed.

Just keep in mind the derating curve per page 21/40 per datasheet.
- Exceeding these ratings or not providing enough free space around the resistor would likely require a heat sink and/or a fan.

i am planning to use 27Ohm resistor PN “3-2176632-5”. which rated for 60W. its RCWV is ~40.
in my application, it’ll be used for 27W.
