I’m looking for an eccoder that was made by Grayhill . part # 63ky3024. being told its discontinued. is there anyone who makes ones that a replacement ?

According to the product advisory notice on the 63K encoders from Grayhill, they - “are changing
the housing material on Series 61K, 61R, 63K and 63R Encoders from red Hiloy 610 to black
Zytel FR-50. The red housing will no longer be produced or sold. No changes to the part
numbering scheme will be made.”
So it seems like only the housing color changed though we only carry a few of the 63K encoders from them as seen here:

Not sure what the Y in your part number calls out. According to that data sheet only the S and blank options are available in that position. S calling out the Shaft & panel seal while no character there simply calls out no shaft and panel seal. The 3024 also does not seem as a possible suffix on the Cycles per Channel per Revolution.
Seems the 63KY3024 might be a specially made encoder and I wasn’t able to locate a good substitute for it. Perhaps contacting Grayhill might yield some better results on the replacement of 63KY3024. Their contact form is here: Contact | Grayhill
