Thank you for the very quick reply. I contacted DigiKey sales through the number you provided, and I’m posting their response here in case anyone has the same question in the future.
The representative I spoke with told me that they didn’t see any specific references to the newer SS-03 model in their database yet, so the 358 items currently in stock (at the time of writing, Nov. 28, 2024) are most probably the older SS-02 model. Once these have been sold through, it is likely that the next shipment from the supplier will be of the new model.
