Desoldering braid, wick and solder vacuum pumps are used to remove solder from joints, pads and wires during repair, component removal/replacement, and general desoldering applications using activated rosin, wicking techniques or direct removal using suction. Rosin types include lead-free, no clean, mildly activated, non-activated, and unfluxed. ESD safe and static dissipative options are available.
SelectionCharacteristics
Product Type: Indicates the general design of the product.
Type: Indicates the specific type of product.
ESD Protection: Indicates whether or not a product is formed of materials that mitigate the buildup of a static electric charge.
Color: The dominant color of the device.
Width: Indicates the width of the product. Typically this is the shorter dimension.
Length: Indicates the length of the product. Typically this is the longer dimension.
Shelf Life: Indicates the period of time for which material properties and performance are expected to remain within the manufacturer’s specifications, when stored and handled as indicated.
Shelf Life Start: Indicates the point from which the clock starts on the manufacturer’s specified shelf life.
Storage/Refrigeration Temperature: Indicates the temperature the product needs to be stored at to remain within manufacturer specifications. Improper storage temperature may reduce shelf life, alter the specifications, or damage or destroy the product.
