EPC ENGRT Suffix Meaning

If you are looking for EPC products, you may see the suffix ‘ENGRT’ after the part number, as in EPC2102ENGRT.

ENGRT calls out an engineer grade, as opposed to the production grade.

When EPC products are first released, they are normally in an early grade release. When the production grade is released, it calls out that the device is fully tested, changes may or may not have been completed but the device is good to be called production grade.

Once a device moves from Engineer Grade to Production Grade, the Engineer grade is no longer available.
