EPSON, SG5032CCN Crystal Series: Difference Between 'A1' and 'A3' Suffixes?

Epson offers a variety of passive products, including their SG5032CCN series of timing crystals. We’ve had some questions recently on the difference between an ‘A1’ suffix at the end of these part numbers versus an ‘A3’ suffix, as in SG5032CCN 4.915200M-HJGA3. Do these callouts alter the product’s specifications?

Both A1 and A3 are packaging specifications. The ‘1’ indicates a 1k-piece tape-and-reel package, while ‘3’ indicates a 250-piece tape-and-reel specification. The crystal itself is identical across these two specs.
