Etching and fabrication equipment is a collection of tools and chemicals used to create electrical circuits on a printed circuit board. The accessory types include etching kits, chloride solutions, exposure kits, dry film resist, solder mask, transparency film, etc. Many of these products have a shelf life that needs to be taken into consideration.
SelectionCharacteristics
Accessory Type: The type, style, or nature of the accessory.
For Use With/Related Products: Defines other part types, numbers, or series with which this product is designed to be used.
Storage/Refrigeration Temperature: Indicates the temperature range the material must be kept within while stored/unused for it to remain within specification.
Shelf Life Start: Indicates the point from which the clock starts on the manufacturer’s specified shelf life.
Shelf Life: The manufacturer’s specified storage lifetime before the material is considered to have degraded out of compliance with its specifications. Note that shelf life is contingent on storage conditions and improper storage of the material will significantly shorten shelf life.
