A: Yes, despite the expired TÜV certificate, Libero® SoC Design Suite v11.5 SP2 and its originally certified IP cores remain functionally safe for SIL 3. There have been no changes to the tools, IP cores, or errata content since the original certification. The initial certification covered Libero® SoC Design Suite v11.5 SP2 and associated development tools, a select set of IP cores, and a published errata document, all deemed suitable for safety-related designs up to SIL 3 by TÜV Rheinland.
Q: Does Libero SoC 11.8 SP4 maintain its IEC 61508 compliance after the release of Libero 2023.2 SP1?
