Flexible Cable for AXT680124DD1 and AXT580124DD1 connectors

Hi,

I am working with a Texas Instruments DLP4500 system and need to connect the DLP chip to its controller. Both interfaces use Panasonic board to board connectors, part numbers AXT680124DD1 and AXT580124DD1 with 80 contacts and a 0.4 mm pitch.

I am looking for a flexible ribbon cable or another suitable solution that would allow me to connect these two Panasonic connectors within the Texas Instruments setup.

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

In Texas Instruments documentation they mention that AXT580124 and AXT680124 are equivalent connectors to the ones you mention.

Seems like the only option in your case would to be to make a custom flexible PCB with those connectors.

Hi Kristof, Thanks for replying! Do you know if there’s a flexible flat cable available that works with these connectors on DigiKey?

There is not an off the shelf solution for this. It would require a custom flexible pcb design.
