An exceptionally common request for devices such as Fluke’s FLUKE-87-5 is whether they ship with calibration certificates.
The answer is that in most cases, common field tools like this do not come with a calibration certificate unless a unit is specifically ordered with special, aftermarket calibration. Tools like DMMs are expected to be field calibrated by the end user of the tool, and many such tools - the 87-5 included - have auto-calibration functionality integrated into them. Unless your particular application has a specific, unusual requirement not covered by ordinary field calibration, you shouldn’t need aftermarket certifications for tools like the Fluke 87-5.
