A timeless gift idea for an electronics test engineer is a special precision hand tool by Fluke.

Digi-key used to stock these (614-INS-BOT-ND), but unfortunately is not available any more.

These are some great gift ideas! They are very practical, and I’m sure the recipient would be very appreciative of any of them. I especially like the safety glasses and the already cut pieces of VHB tape. Those two items would be very useful in many different situations. Thanks for the suggestions!

Hi Nick,
Thank you for the correction. I reckon I used a non-US Digi-key site for the search, leading to believe that the item was discontinued. Having the sites around the globe not in sync may lead to lost sales opportunities.

I am showing the Fluke option has been discontinued so the stock available is all that is left. Fluke also limits where we can export their products. Fortunately we do have other options!
