Help with home music centre a Kenwood RXD-27-L

Hi all I was wondering if someone could help me with the following replacement resistors on a home music centre a Kenwood RXD-27-L I have looked on the website but very confusing as I am new to this any help would be appreciated.

Please take a look at the pictures etc. as I am not sure if I got the right colours on the bands on the resistors.

Resistors 41-44 All information I have is the following colour code (red, red, brown, gold) if I am correct on that but I will provide pictures X 4 of the same.

Resistors 45-46 All information I have is the following (orange, white, red, green) if I am correct on that but I will provide pictures x 2 of the same.

Resistors 47-48 All information I have is the following (red, violet, green, gold) if I am correct on that but I will provide pictures. x 2 of the same.

Resistors 59-62 All information I have is the following (yellow, violet, grey, grey) if I am correct on that but I will provide pictures. x 4 of the same.

Resistor 182 all information I have is the following (brown, red, red, gold) if I am correct on that but I will provide pictures.

Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry. The screen shot you attached on the right side it has the value of the parts 220 1/4W, 3.9K 1/4W and so on, the parts we have in stock to offer are

220QBK-ND - RES 220 OHM 5% 1/4W AXIAL
3.9KQBK-ND - RES 3.9K OHM 5% 1/4W AXIAL
270QBK-ND - RES 270 OHM 5% 1/4W AXIAL
4.7QBK-ND - RES 4.7 OHM 5% 1/4W AXIAL
13-RSF100JB-73-1K2-ND - RES 1.2K OHM 5% 1W AXIAL
13-RSF200JB-73-33R-ND - RES 33 OHM 5% 2W AXIAL

hi thank you so much i need this resistor as well I have taken a few pic of it

When replacing resistors based on color codes, it’s essential to correctly identify the resistor values, as misinterpretation could lead to improper replacements and potential damage to the device. The color codes you provided follow a standard system used to denote resistance values and tolerances.

Here’s how to interpret the color codes you’ve listed:

1. Resistors 41-44 (Red, Red, Brown, Gold)

  • Red (2), Red (2), Brown (10 multiplier), Gold (5% tolerance)
  • Value: 220 Ω with 5% tolerance

2. Resistors 45-46 (Orange, White, Red, Green)

  • Orange (3), White (9), Red (100 multiplier), Green (unknown; possible temperature coefficient)
  • Likely value: 3.9 kΩ, though the green band seems unusual (it might not indicate tolerance or typical temperature coefficient). Double-check this with a schematic if possible.

3. Resistors 47-48 (Red, Violet, Green, Gold)

  • Red (2), Violet (7), Green (100k multiplier), Gold (5% tolerance)
  • Value: 2.7 MΩ with 5% tolerance

4. Resistors 59-62 (Yellow, Violet, Grey, Grey)

  • Yellow (4), Violet (7), Grey (unclear in typical resistor coding; could imply a non-standard value)
  • This combination doesn’t follow standard resistor color codes. “Grey” is typically not used for multipliers. You might need to cross-check this with the circuit diagram or consult a technician.

5. Resistor 182 (Brown, Red, Red, Gold)

  • Brown (1), Red (2), Red (100 multiplier), Gold (5% tolerance)
  • Value: 1.2 kΩ with 5% tolerance

6. Resistor 202 (Not fully provided in your message)

  • If more information is provided about this resistor, I can help decode it too.

How to Proceed:

  1. Double-check the color bands: It’s always a good idea to cross-check the colors under good lighting, and refer to a color code chart to ensure you have the correct values.
  2. Use a multimeter: If you’re unsure, use a multimeter to measure the resistance directly and confirm it matches the expected values.
  3. Check the service manual: If available, consult the Kenwood RXD-27-L service manual, which should list the exact values of each resistor in the circuit.

If you’re still uncertain, feel free to share the pictures you mentioned, and I can help you further in identifying the components.

Hi I have enclosed the information that on the

service manual: If available, consult the Kenwood RXD-27-L service manual, which should list the exact values of each resistor in the circuit.

I really appreciate the help

Best regards

michael

Based on the image you provided from the Kenwood RXD-27-L service manual, the resistors you’ve mentioned match the following values:

1. Resistors 41-44:

  • Color code: Red, Red, Brown, Gold
  • Service manual value: 220 Ω (0.22k Ω), 1/4W

2. Resistors 45-46:

  • Color code: Orange, White, Red, Green
  • Service manual value: 3.9k Ω, 1/4W

3. Resistors 47-48:

  • Color code: Red, Violet, Green, Gold
  • Service manual value: 2.7M Ω (Megaohm), 1/4W

4. Resistors 59-62:

  • Color code: Yellow, Violet, Grey, Grey
  • Service manual value: The exact value for this is not clearly mentioned on the sheet, but it could be a high-resistance value, potentially outside the standard resistor ranges. It may require further checking or could be a custom part.

5. Resistor 182:

  • Color code: Brown, Red, Red, Gold
  • Service manual value: 1.2k Ω, 1/4W

I suggest using a multimeter to confirm the values before making replacements, just to be sure everything aligns with what’s listed in the manual.

Let me know if you need any more clarification or details!

thank you very much for help

It looks like I was able to find 2019-MOS2CT52R561JCT-ND as a possible match for your 560Ohm resistor, but unfortunately I was unable to find any information on part number RS14KB3A270JTE for resistor 194 to see if we had a possible replacement.

Hi again i have taken the resistor out and taken

more pictures please see below hope this helps
