Hi,
I need a device for my project, that is a high accuracy sensing mechanism that can measure the temperature of a liquid in a well with a probe and then includes a control element that can control heat to a polyamide film heater or something similar. Do you have any recommendations?
Check out the products listed in the process temperature controller family. These are devices designed to query a sensor and output a control response to achieve a desired result.
Sensors unfortunately are somewhat more scattered, but places to look include the RTD family, NTC Thermistors, Thermocouples & temperature probes, or this other thermocouple & temperature probe family filed under the test equipment rather than the sensors.
It’s unclear what your particular definition of “high accuracy” is, but devices based on a platinum RTD element are often preferred in cases where people are fussy about such things. Note carefully the specifications for the chosen sensor and controller; the end result is a combination of the two, and in most cases can be significantly improved using a suitable calibration process.
