A key requirement in data centers is precise power sequencing so that the QB solution supplies and powers up processors safely in a controlled and timely manner. The PSM handles this automatically.

The PSM fully automates multirail startup, shutdown, and voltage margining, It supports both time-based and tracking-based sequencing and can cascade multiple QB solutions for scalable architectures.
The PSM DRV_EN/RUN and VOUT_EN parameters, including Programmable delays, rise times and sequencing policies can all be programmed through PMBus. guaranteeing that interconnected rails always power up and down in a coordinated manner. This controlled sequencing minimizes voltage overshoot and undershoot during every power cycle, enhancing the reliability of data center racks.
