A frequent question we field here at DigiKey is requests for a specific revision of a given product, such as ADALM-PLUTO from Analog Devices or ATMega Microcontrollers from Microchip Technology. How do you know you’ll be getting exactly what you need from us when you order these devices?
Due to the way DigiKey handles and processes orders, we cannot check revisions for you prior to you placing your order. This doesn’t mean we cannot accommodate specific revision requests, however. When placing an order for a product with different revisions, you can request a specific valid revision code or a description such as “latest revision” or “Rev. B or earlier” from us via the Order Notes section of your order. Place your request in this section, and our fulfillment team will comply with the request. If they cannot due to insufficient qualifying stock or other reasons, they will contact you to ask for instructions prior to fulfilling your order.

Once you’ve finished adding your notes, simply hit Submit and you’re good to go. Your revision request is complete and will be accommodated if at all possible. And if not, we’ll work out a solution for you.
