Industrial PCs are computers made to withstand the harsh environment and requirements of an industrial setting. These computers are designed to withstand shock, vibration, extreme heat, and are expected to run 24/7.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates the specific style of PC.
Core Processor: Identifies the microprocessor or processor technology that serves as the primary computational engine for a board or device.
Storage: Indicates the form-factor being used and the capacity.
Memory: Indicates the form-factor being used and the capacity.
Display Type: Indicates the type and size of the display, if applicable.
Expansion Type: Indicates suitability for expanding FIFO capacity by using multiple devices to increase data word length and/or number of data words stored.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as an SD card slot.
Voltage - Supply: Typically represented by a range, this indicates the low and high voltage limits which one can expect standard operation. Voltages outside this range may damage the device and other system components.
Mounting Type: Indicates how the device is attached.
Operating Temperature: Recommended operating temperature, typically given in a range or as a maximum. Exceeding these temperatures may affect performance or damage the device and other system components.
Ingress Protection: IP (Ingress Protection) ratings such as (IP20, IP65, IP67, etc.) define how likely water and dirt will get into the system. The first number represents dirt and solid contaminants while the second represents water and liquids.

Operating System: Indicates operating systems with which a software package is compatible.
Approval Agency: An indication that the product meets the minimum safety standards of an approving agency. These agencies are either government entities or private third-party labs that protect consumer safety.
