Inquiry About Lead Time for My Order

Dear DigiKey Customer Support,

I am interested in purchasing [SMA-J-P-H-ST-EM1]. I understand that Digi-Key currently does not have this item in stock, and that my order would require Digi-Key to source it directly from the manufacturer.

According to the product page, the estimated delivery date for my order is shown as sometime in December. However, I noticed that the manufacturer currently has approximately 26,884 units available.

Could you please clarify why the lead time is projected to be so long, and whether the delivery could be made sooner given the manufacturer’s available stock? I would like to know the realistic timeline from when I place my order to when I can expect delivery.

The lead time shown on the product page is an estimated duration and not an exact delivery timeline. As noted:

“The lead time shown will apply to the manufacturer’s shipment to DigiKey. Upon receiving the product, DigiKey will ship to fill open orders.”
