If you are looking for SMT products from Knowles Dielectric Labs, you may see two mounting types available for these products – “SMD” or “Chip and Wire” .
“SMD” is for typical soldering methods, such as FPC06719.
“Chip and Wire” is also an SMT product but the device is designed for use of conductive epoxy when mounting (this device is not suitable for solder mount), such as FPC06149.
