Any substitution for L6202? seems L6201 is at lower speed?

L6202 is not slower than L6201. They mainly differ in current capability. L6202 is obsolete and discontinued now. Good replacements are TB6612FNG or DRV8833. For higher power, use VNH5019 drivers.
