Lattice Semiconductor offers a wide array of embedded control products and supporting accessories for them. One such accessory is their HW-USBN-2B programming cable, which aids in-system programming of Lattice devices via their Diamond/IsvPM software system. Lately we’ve had questions asking what sort of indication this cable provides when a program is successfully loaded onto its target IC, or what the cable indicates if an error is encountered?
Any sort of success indication or error notification is done at the programmatic level, above this cable. This programming cable itself does not offer any sort of indications or notifications of success or error, that would be dependent on your own programming interface to handle.
