Hello,
As far as I can tell, it has never been a good number. The closest I could find is part number LM139AJ/PB
Hi stephen.franks,
I don’t know for a fact, but it’s doubtful. The “J” refers to having a ceramic DIP style package, which is designed to handle very harsh environments over a very broad temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
The “NOPB” refers to “no lead”, as in RoHS compliant.
The LM139AJ/PB package is not RoHS compliant because it does contain lead on the leads.
Here’s the datasheet listing of possible part numbers (at least currently available):
Since the ceramic package tends to be used for specialty applications (very high and low temperatures and high-reliability applications), there’s a greater chance that those who need it would be exempt from RoHS requirements, though that’s just speculation on my part.
