Maximum current 839-1518-ND and 839-1519-ND?

Hi,

I’m looking for the datasheet but I dind’t find something baout the maximum voltage and current. Do you know which is? I want to use with 48V 3A maximum, but I don’t know if I can.

Thank you,

Welcome to the forum.

Although it isn’t specified, that connector type is OK for 48VDC.

The current will be limited to the normal rating for 22 AWG wire which is dependant on how much heat generated by the wire is safe for your application.
For 10°C/18°F temperature rise the limit is ~ 2.7A
For 35°C/63°F temperature rise the limit is ~ 4.9A

So at 3A the temperature of the cable will rise by roughly 12°C/22°F

The other potential problem is the amount of voltage drop the system can tolerate. The two cables combined are 6 feet (2 meters) long so at 3A they will drop the voltage by 0.7V. This will make the output voltage 47.3V instead of 48V, that may or may not be a problem for your system.

Although the forum generated link card says it’s private this is actually a public spreadsheet I created and a Google sign in is not required.
