Microchip Technology offers a huge catalog of semiconductor products, among which is the PG164150 PICKit 5 programmer. We’ve had some concerns lately over what other products are required to be purchased alongside this programmer, such as SD cards and connector cables. Are such components required?
SD cards or other external memory is not required for this kit. There is an adapter board for using older cables with this board, AC102015, but this is not required to use the kit which otherwise comes with everything you need.
