I have reviewed this part on with the manufacturers product page which they list this part as still being active and in production. I am checking with our Product Specialist for this item if this is truly end of life with the posted last time buy. I shall follow up after further review.

Best regards,

The PCN in question was issued twelve days ago, and the process of updating everything on the website takes some time.

I’ll not share at this time because it’s marked “confidential” and came through private channels, versus being publicly posted. It does not list a suggested alternative, and since it was a two-die rather than monolithic its pinout does not directly match any of the other similar devices on hand.

Hello,

We have bean told the part number MT41K1G8RKB-107:P will be on LTB20251102 and this part is crucial for us, the two part numbers MT41K512M16VRP-107 IT:P & MT41K512M8DA-107 IT:P are potentially a replacement but the availability of lifespan is critical could you please confirm for how long those part will will remain in production?

Thank you,

Hello @purchasing01 !

Thank you for posting to DigiKey’s TechForum!

At this time, we do not have visibility into the expected lifecycle or end-of-life timeline for these alternate parts. For official confirmation on long term availability, we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer.

It looks like you’ve already enabled automatic part change notifications for the previous end-of-life part. For reference, here’s a guide that walks through how to set those up, in case it’s useful for other parts in your workflow:

Thank you,
Victoria

The DRAM business is quite famously volatile and known for short product lifecycles. Micron does however have a longevity program which designates certain parts for long-term support; these are the only models I’d recommend to projects anticipating a life cycle longer than a few years from design concept to end of production.
