The Nordic nRF54LM20A ultra-low power wireless SoC has been launched.
This device offer developers more resources and more flexibility to build advanced connected products across different market sectors such as consumer, industrial, and healthcare among others. The evaluation boards will be available soon at DigiKey. These will offer a high-memory option, featuring 2 MB Non Volatile memory and 512 KB RAM, while keeping the same MCU functionality with a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor, RISC-V coprocessor. It enhances the comprehensive peripheral set with high-speed USB and up to 66 General Purpose Input Outputs. This device includes a Nordic’s fourth-generation ultra-low-power 2.4 GHz radio, supporting Bluetooth® LE 6.0, Channel Sounding, Matter over Thread, among other features. The nRF54LM20A delivers twice the processing power from previous ones, three times the processing efficiency, and up to 50 percent lower power consumption than the industry reference – the nRF52 Series.
