Omega offers a WT4401 wind tunnel in two different versions through DigiKey: the WT4401-S and the WT4401-D. the difference between these wind tunnels is the electronics box that comes with each model.
The ‘-S’ comes with the standard electronics box, which includes a PX657 127mm (5") H2O differential pressure sensor and a DP41-S-A meter with an analog output, all of which is housed in a benchtop case.
The ‘-D’ comes with the same PX657 127mm (5") H2O differential pressure sensor as the standard box, along with a HX97-A temperature and humidity sensor, a PX02C1-16A5T barometric sensor, a PSS-D15B power supply, three DP25-E panel meters, and aDP41B-S panel meter. All of the equipment is housed in a heavy-duty, air-cooled, metal benchtop case.
When the wind tunnels are shipped from DigiKey, regardless of which model you order, they will come with the following:
- Wind tunnel
- Electronics box
- Restrictive plate A
- Restrictive plate B
- Motor controller
- 2, 5-foot pieces of silicone tubing
- A package of brass compression fittings with Teflon ferrules (sizes: 1⁄8, 3⁄16, 1⁄4, 3⁄8)
- 6, calibration report sheets (3 in metric units, 3 in English units)
- Operator’s manual for DP41-S indicator
- Quick reference guide for the DP41-S indicator
- Operator’s manual for the motor controller
- Operator’s manual for wind tunnel
When you order the WT4401-D, you will also receive an operator’s manual for the DP25-E panel meter and a calibration sheet for the PX02C1-16A5T barometer.
Tech Note: All meters used in both the ‘-S’ and ‘-D’ electronics packages have a 10VDC analog output.
