Custom/Miniature 3-Wire PT100 RTD Probe (Ø7 mm × 8 mm)
I am looking for a replacement miniature 3-wire PT100 RTD probe for an Omlat high-frequency electrospindle repair.
Thermoresistance PT100 – TSAR17-I-12000
Required specifications:
- PT100, 3-wire configuration
- Stainless steel sheath
- Probe diameter: 7 mm
- Probe length: 8 mm
- Good strain relief at cable exit
- Suitable for spindle environment
I attached a photo of the original sensor (wires sheared off at the probe body). Please quote a direct replacement or the closest match, including cable length options and lead time.
Thank you. I look forward to your quote.
Hello Servo_King
Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.
I am unable to locate any information for PT100 – TSAR17-I-12000.
I will need more information about this RTD probe to see if we offer an alternative.

Any “PT100” RTD element that follows standards should have similar temp-resistance characteristics to another of the same designation, to a close first approximation. Whether “close” is close enough for your purposes would be up to you to decide.
While I see no assembly similar to the one pictured among our listings, it looks to me that somebody made the pictured item by taking an RTD element, attaching wires to it, and stuffing the lot into an epoxy-filled cavity in a small slug of what looks like stainless steel from here. The element itself is by nature a 2-terminal device, but duplicating leads to one side allows for some compensation of errors due to cabling length.
