ESMIT-4180/A…need to know the difference between the quantity of a single cut tape and a single reel of the component mentioned.

One reel is 500 pieces. If you order the CT version or cut tape, one piece would be one surface mount transformer. We would cut it off the reel so you do not have to order a quantity of 500. With the cut tape you have multiple price breaks of quantities less than the full reel.
