Readout for Omron E6B2-CWZ6C encoder

I am looking for a readout or counter that I can use with an encoder to give me a 360* reading. The encoders I have are 1024 p/r. and NPN.

With regards to the Omron encoder, my I recommend the Red Lion PAXI0030. This is a versatile counter that may be configured to display quadrature encoder values. It will accept NPN or PNP devices.

Personally, I prefer to use the Red Lion’s Crimson software for configuring the device e.g., to scale for the 1024 p/r to the motion of your machine. I find this approach easier than navigating the various menus.
