Rectifier identification please SMA

Hello,

Please indentify this SMA(DO-214AC) packaging rectifier. I can’t find what is it.

The open voltage is 0,570V.

Hello @oszitrek,

Thank you for your inquiry.

I am only able to narrow down our options to a certain point with that image and information.

Standard Surface Mount DO-214AC, SMA Single Diodes | Rectifiers | Diodes | Electronic Components Distributor DigiKey

If it’s a TVS diode, it might be this guy:

The 11V value is very uncommon, but I would say that in most circumstances, the more common 12V value would do just fine. We have a number of 12V options if you think that would be acceptable.

Maybe this, but I think this is not MCC. And can other manufacturers use the SMD markings differently?

This is a SMA6J15A from MCC. Laser engraving is clearly completely different.

Hello @oszitrek
There are other manufacturers with the KZ marking but SMB package case size:
SMA (5.59x2.92mm) vs SMB (5.59x3.81mm)

Hi oszitrek,

I have checked datasheets from multiple (at least a dozen) vendors, and the marking “KZ” universally seems to represent a stand-off voltage of 11V. I can’t say which particular vendor made your original part, but I am pretty confidant that it is an 11V part.

Regarding whether it’s an SMA package or an SMB package (your image appears to be of an SMA to me), @Troy_2808 gives you dimensions to determine whether it is an SMA or SMB.

Here are some drawings of each to further compare (note the difference in highlighted dimension):

SMA (DO-214AC)

SMB (DO-214AA)

As this is somewhat of a commodity part, choosing any of the 11V parts would likely work for you from either the SMA or the SMB parts, depending on which size part you actually have.

Hello David_1528,

This is SMA package, I measure it.

Thanks for the information!
