RevPI connect 4 mDNS Cannot establish connection

I purchased a RevPI connect 4 device and i was able to access it locally. However after doing some updates i cannot access it locally. I can still ping the device. I want to change the device IP to a static IP and i am unable to do so without accessing the device locally.

Hello and welcome to the TechForum! Just clarify, can you tell us what specific model number of the RevPI connect 4 you are using? There are a few different versions of the Connect 4 available.

Hi @nmavilmada This is one of the common failures of mDNS (Multicast DNS), especially on windows 10, it’s not always consistent. Multicast DNS

You’ll need to login into your dhcp/router and find out the device’s real ip address. You could also define a static IP address from there.

On Linux you can use avahi, to discover mDNS devices.
