Server Acceleration Cards, also known as system memory accelerators, target the continually evolving requirements of modern data centers. By providing higher performance than traditional CPUs, programmable accelerator cards speed up any workload without having to change existing hardware. Server accelerator cards provide advanced performance in machine learning artificial intelligence, video transcoding, financial (crypto) trading, and database search and analytics applications.
SelectionCharacteristics
Memory Size: The amount of RAM or system memory available on the device.
Bandwidth: The device’s data throughput capacity, how much data it can handle at once.
LUTs (Look up Tables): Describes the size of a memory resource used for storage of frequently used data.
INT8 TOPs: Trillions (or Tera-) Operations Per Second on 8-bit integer data types and is an indication of maximum theoretical computational capacity.
Power (Watts): Typically this rating indicates the nominal amount of power you would expect the device to consume during normal operation.
Cooling Type: Indicates the method the device uses to dissipate heat.
Operating Temperature: Recommended operating temperature, typically given in a range or as a maximum. Exceeding these temperatures may affect performance or damage the device and other system components.
