SIMCom Wireless provides machine-to-machine communications solutions, including their SIM7600G-PCIE R2 cellular transceiver. We’ve had a couple of questions on what firmware these modules ships with recently, as well as whether that firmware can be upgraded down the road.
As of the time of writing, these modules come with the LE20B02SIM7600G firmware version as their base, tagged LE2, per SIMCom. This firmware can be upgraded however, via the normal process for upgrading firmware for this device.
