Is there an SMA equivalent of BNC connector P/N: A32341-ND (Solderable terminals)
Hello rick.avina
Thank you for posting in the TechForum.
Part number 24-142-1701-401-ND is the same thing as 5227726-3 only SMA.
Thanks, I saw the bulkhead SMAs, but there is no terminal to solder a ground wire, as in the BNC example, or am I missing it?
I don’t see any that specify Isolated.
BNCs are often used in applications that have almost nothing to do with RF, making the isolated mount and poor impedance control that attends that sort of termination practical as a commercial product. The same can’t really be said for SMA or most other coaxial/RF connectors.
If a person was really intent on that sort of thing, I suppose a person could slip a ring terminal under the bulkhead nut and/or use some insulating washers of appropriate size if an isolated mount was desired.
Thank you for the explanation. That makes sense, and your solution may work for our application!
