Alternative SMA LMR240 connector

Hello,

I bought some LMR240 cable and it got delivered a couple of days ago. I then realized my SMA connector (the pin) does not fit the core and I forgot to check the dimensions.

So now I found this LMR240 SMA connector: ARF2410-ND (partnumber)

But am I reading it right, its $16 for ONE CONNECTOR? I need two, probably four as I’m going to mess that one or two up but for $16 I was expecting a bag of hundreds or something.

Did I read it right, and are there cheaper alternatives that I’m not able to find?

Hello lars - you’re correct, that is the pricing for one piece of ARF2410-ND. Here are two other options you can take a look at, this is a comparison of your original part and the two alternatives.

Hi,
Yes, you read it right. The price of this cable is high, and if it is out of your budget, you can simply use the alternatives. Although the performance of these relatively cheap wires is not up to par, I think they should help you out. Here is a list of some other cables:

  1. SMA Male Crimp Connector
  2. SMA Bulkhead Connector
  3. SMA Female Crimp

That price point is not uncommon for coaxial connectors.

If you’re looking for something a little more cost-effective you may want to consider:
