The WST series of buzzers from Soberton is internally driven and washable.
The following is the washing process recommendation from Soberton:
The sticker covers the ‘sound hole’ - which every buzzer requires. If water enters the hole it can be a detriment to the device (depending on the quantity and types of solids in the water.
Cleaning - There are many factors that can change in a cleaner: direction of spray, force of spray, type of solvent, water additives, spray duration…The white sticker works in most gentle cleaning operations. We make NO cleaning recommendation because everyone’s application is unique.
The only way to determine if the sticker is a proper “water stop” is to try it in the manufacturing process.
Kapton tape or a dab of latex mask usually works in more aggressive cleaning conditions.
