Substitute for NAIS AJK3242 JK1AF-24V relay

I’m looking to replace this relay (discontinued) with a substitute and I’m having a difficult time finding a good match. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi timg,

Welcome to the Tech Forum!

Unfortunately, I was not able to find another relay with the same pin spacing. It seems that the NAIS (name changed to Panasonic now) JK series had a unique pin spacing between the coil contacts and the switch contacts. In your part, there is a 0.6" (15.24mm) spacing, whereas most other similar configurations have a 0.5" (12.7mm) spacing.

If this is a one-off replacement, you might try to hack one of these 0.5" spaced versions to make it work in a pinch. If you are considering this, the PR5-24V-200-1A or the T77V1D3-2 might be worth a look, as the electrical specs are very close, and the relative orientation of the pins is otherwise the same.

Thanks for the response! I will look at the T77V1D3-2 and PR5-24V-200-1A, and try to make one of those work.
