Switch Kits

This Product Selection Guide contains information to help select products in the Switch Kits category on DigiKey.com

Switch kits typically contain one type of switch (tactile, pushbutton, slide, etc.), but can have a mix of current and voltage ratings along with circuit and mounting types. Each kit has varying quantities of switches in them. There are panel mount, through-hole, surface mount, R/A, and snap-in available. Circuit types include an assorted mix, SPDT, SPDT-NO, and SPST-NO.


SelectionCharacteristics

Kit Type: A general description of the function and contents of the kit.

Quantity: Indicates the total number of items included and also how many different types there are in the kit if there are any.

Current - Switching: Span of current ratings the kit includes.

Voltage Rating - AC: Span of AC voltage ratings the kit includes.

Voltage Rating - DC: Span of DC voltage ratings the kit includes.

Actuator Type: Form factor of the device’s mechanical interface.

Circuit: Describes device function in terms of a number of poles and throws, as is common for mechanical switches.

Mounting Type: Indicates how the devices in the kit can be attached.

Termination Style: Describes the shape or standard configuration of a device’s electrical connection(s).
