A common question for TDK Film Capacitors concerns the manufacturer label. When customers order the parts with the suffix code 000, but when they receive their capacitors the label lists the product ID with a N1 suffix instead of 000. What is the meaning of “N1”?
For example, the B32653A2472J000 shows “B32653A2472JN1”
There is no difference, these two numbers are for the same capacitor. The 000’s are place holders from when TDK went to a 15 digit ordering code. “000” was added to shorter part numbers and in the case of film caps 000 are bulk. It and the N1 means they were produced at Nashik India factory.
